ABOUT THE MR MARINE GROUP MR Marine Group was established in Sydney Australia in 1998, as a Marine Business to cater for niche markets in the Australian Marine Industry. Initially MR Marine developed products in the PC Navigation Market.  MR Marine developed and sold products such as the InView Marine PC, InView High Brightness Marine Displays, and InView Waterproof Keyboards.    InView PC Systems were used on many Superyachts, as well on Sydney to Hobart winning Maxi Racing Yachts such as Alfa Romeo 1 and 2, and Skania Wildthing. MR Marine also was the Australian Distributor for a number of products including Nobeletc Navigation Software, Sounders and Radars,  Maretron NMEA 2000 Products and Ship-Modul NMEA 2000 Multiplex Equipment. As market trends changed, MR Marine moved into Satellite TV Antennas in 2008.  Importing custom built antenna from South Korea and marking them under the OCEAN TV brand.  MR Marine worked closely with the Korean Factory developing and improving OCEAN TV Satellite TV Antennas for the Australian Market,  selling over 1800 by 2013.   In late 2013 it was decided to develop our our Satellite TV Antennas under the OCEAN TV brand and move manufacturng away from Korea.  During 2014, a new factory was set up in Asia, and a new range of OCEAN TV "HD" series antennas were developed.  After 12 months of R & D both in Asia and in Sydney Australia, the first OCEAN TV O45HD was released in Australia in 2015, featuring many advanced features such as a Custom Australian Spec Quad LNB, Aut Skew of the LNB, on board GPS, and advanced Silent Motors.  In 2016 the OCEAN TV O60HD wa salso released.  Over the next 5 years years the antennas were updated and improved in many ways including software development for improved tracking and small hardware improvements for better reliability.  Over 1500 antennas were sold in the next 4 years in Australia, with our factory in Asia also making around an additional 3000 antennas a year for other brands in teh European and Asian Market. When COVID hit the world, it was decided to build the OCEAN TV antennas for the Australian, New Zealand and UAE Markets locally on the Gold Coast, from local and globally souced components.  This allowed further improvements including the introduction of a remote panel for the Antenna Controller, further software development for the Australia Market, and the painting of all Antenna domes to an automotive standard.  Since 2020, approx 1200 Australian Built Antennas have been sold in Australia,m New Zealand and UAE Markets. At the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in 2023, the OCEAN NET 5G LTE Product was released.  Featuring two Custom Designed and Manufactured 5G Antennas that cover all world 3G, 4G, LTE and 5G frequencies, and a world leading Industrial Dual SIM Router, OCEAN NET ill fit indise a 45cm or larger Satellite TV dome, or is available as a External Stand alone System. OCEAN NET was developed as an viable alternative to StarLink Satellite Internet.  The average boating person in Australia does not need expensive satellite internet, so OCEAN NET was developed using the Australian Cellular Network, giving coverage on the Australian East Coast from Southern Tasmania to Cooktown in North Queensland, and up to 70km off shore while traveling.  OCEAN NET like OCEAN TV was developed to be compatible with markets other than Australia, and is compatible with all Cellular Networks World Wide.
